Material and colors

The mosaic tiles from the Valencia collection are made from recycled window glass and available in seven trendy colors. Think mustard yellow, burgundy and khaki. In addition, two variants of each color are available. You can choose from a mix of matte and glossy mosaic tiles or only matte tiles.

Processing

Recycled glass is more breakable than, for example, ceramic, porcelain or "standard" glass mosaic. The mosaic tiles from the Valencia collection are therefore more prone to breakage than other tiles in our range. Before processing, you should therefore first check that the tiles contain no hairline cracks. In addition, it is important to cut the Valencia mosaic with a water-cooled diamond saw. This is because cutting or sawing can also lead to breakage. Standard glass mosaic from the Amsterdam collection is less prone to breakage and therefore slightly easier to work with.

Applications

The Valencia collection is very suitable as a mosaic wall tile. For example, incorporate these hexagon tiles in the kitchen! The matte mosaic can also be used as a floor tile, but only in light-touch areas. By that, we mean spaces where people mainly walk in socks or bare feet, such as the bathroom. Valencia mosaic tiles are not suitable for outdoor use.

Maintenance

To keep your tiles as beautiful as possible, it is best to clean them with natural agents and a soft cloth or chamois. Green soap, for example, is a good choice. Lime removers and acidic cleaning products are best avoided. We also advise against using scouring sponges and steel brushes, as they can scratch the tiles. Finally, it is important to dry the tile surface thoroughly, as lime can affect the grout.
