AUTUMN IN THE HOME WITH MOSAIC

Fall has officially begun! Although autumn is a lot colder and darker than summer, we love the coziness this season brings. Do you? With appropriate mosaics in the right places, you can easily bring autumn into your home. Check out our tips and favorite mosaic tiles for an autumnal interior below!

1. Warm tones

Autumn calls for blankets on the couch, a cup of tea and thick sweaters. In short, anything cozy and warm! Therefore, if you want to bring autumn into your home with mosaic, it is best to choose tiles in warm tones. Earth tones, such as brown and beige, for example, are very suitable for an autumnal interior.

2. Colors of autumn

Warm tones form the basis of your interior, but you can very well complement them with mosaics in the beautiful colors of autumn. Think of orange, moss green, mustard yellow: basically all the colors you see outside during this season! Just make sure you choose colors in a warm hue. For example, bright red has a cool undertone and burgundy has a warm undertone.

3. With a sheen

Fall is, of course, the time of year for candles in the home. If you choose mosaic tiles with a shiny finish, they reflect the candlelight beautifully: how cozy! We have many mosaics with a glossy finish, so you have plenty of choice. Want to go all out? Then go for the Valencia mix of matte and shiny tiles, in shades of Bordeaux or Mustard Yellow.

4. Go for gold

Gold details go very well with an autumnal interior. We do recommend that you keep these details subtle, because too much gold can look kitschy. For example, choose the Amsterdam Gold series: glass mosaic with fine veins of real gold. The bronze hexagon from the Metallic series is also very suitable!

5. Surprising places

Mosaic is often incorporated into bathrooms and kitchens, but for a truly autumnal interior, think about other places as well. Are you blessed with a fireplace in your home? Then, for example, you can very nicely tile the inside with mosaic. The hall is also a good place, because there you immediately create a warm, cozy entry! Lovely when it's quite cold outside, isn't it?
